About the Cafe
We offer a broad range of lunch choices including fresh, made to order sandwiches, daily soups, a hot frittata special, and fresh baked savoury scones. Our desserts include Susan’s famous Apple Pie and Date Squares, plus Carrot Cake, Chocolate Raspberry Coffee Cake, Raisin Scones (served with jam & whipped cream), plus fresh baked goods and seasonal specials.
Our beverage choices include Ontario VQA wines, draft & bottled beer, and sangria, a wide choice of teas, coffee, and soft drinks & juices.
Our goal is to deliver food that satisfies both the body and the soul, in a friendly, relaxed environment, either in our cozy dining room or on our shaded patio overlooks the Rideau Canal and Merrickville Locks.
